My wife, Marnie, and I squeezed in to a Costa Rica adventure trip with a group from Nashville with Roger Madrigal, Madri, as our guide. We had such a great time that we decided to treat our whole family to such a trip with Madri. Our group consisted of fifteen people from 6 to 75 years of age. The little ones could not participate in the rafting so Madri arranged a side trip to a butterfly farm for them. Everyone enjoyed all the other adventures (surfing, jungle walk and cruise ,canopy tour ,beautiful waterfall well off the beaten path, topiary garden, and exceptional food.) The 6 year old said it best. Before our plane left San Jose she said, " I miss Madri." When offered a trip to "Disney World" both of the youngest grand-kids said they would prefer to go back to Costa Rica.

The Costa Rican vacation Madri planned for us was beyond our expectations. His pride in this incredible country was reflected in every detail of our trip. He made our experience unforgettable and treated us like royalty while respecting our budget. This vacation was a life time favorite for everyone in our group, who aged from 5 to 65. We wish Mardi could plan all of our vacations as he understands how to create a spectacular travel experience. He taught us what Pura Vida means.

Madri is an excellent guide, he takes you to challenging places, with unbelievable scenery. He takes you to relaxing places, with unbelievable food. I will go back to Costa Rica some day on another trip with Madri, because if you need anything, he will give it, if you want anything, he will find it. This is a true leader! Roger Madrigal (or Madri as his friends call him; and very quickly everyone calls him Madri) is quite simply the best guide I have known.

Here is why I believe this: Pre-trip planning:

Madri listens very carefully to the needs and expectations of our trips. There is no “canned” trip that he wants us to use. He has an incredible and extensive network of resources and has been able to organize any sort of trip, for any size group, that we’ve wanted.

Once he has organized the trip, Madri communicates the itinerary very clearly to us before we depart. He is very clear about what we should expect each step of the way.
