Upon arrival at San Jose Airport, we will journey through the breathtaking Braulio Carrillo National Park to the Sarapiquí area, renowned for its rich wildlife. Our hotel, nestled in the heart of a tropical rainforest, will be our sanctuary.

After settling in, we’ll gather for an exquisite first dinner together, savoring the flavors of Costa Rican cuisine.

Get ready for an exciting day as we embark on a white-water rafting adventure! Navigate a river surrounded by lush vegetation, a habitat for sloths, toucans, iguanas, and woodpeckers. In the evening, we will check into our hotel overlooking the stunning Arenal Volcano, one of Costa Rica’s most active volcanoes. Unwind and rejuvenate in the area's natural hot springs, with the option to relax beneath cascading waterfalls.

Today, we will explore the Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge near the Nicaraguan border. A scenic boat ride along the Frio River will lead us through diverse habitats teeming with resident and migratory birds, as well as monkeys, iguanas, turtles, sloths, and caimans.

After our wildlife adventure, we will return to La Fortuna to enjoy shopping and dining among locals.

This morning, we will visit the breathtaking La Fortuna Waterfall, which cascades 210 feet into a serene swimming hole, enveloped by lush tropical vegetation.

After lunch, get ready for an exhilarating zip-line canopy ride, where you'll soar through the treetops and enjoy spectacular views of the rainforest and Arenal Volcano.

After breakfast with a view of Arenal Volcano, we will travel to the charming village of Monteverde, stopping at Arenal Lake for magnificent scenery. The Monteverde Cloud Forest is a wonderland of biodiversity, home to over 2,500 plant species, including 420 varieties of orchids, as well as countless mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians.

Following lunch, we’ll visit the Monteverde Butterfly Garden, showcasing various local insects and arachnids, offering an intimate encounter with nature.

Experience the enchanting Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Wander through wind-sculpted elfin woodlands and majestic rainforests adorned with orchids, bromeliads, ferns, and more.

Encounter an array of wildlife, such as ocelots, tapirs, and the elusive resplendent Quetzal, as we explore the cloud forest at our own pace. Afterward, we’ll journey to the Pacific Coast, observing the transformation of the landscape from cloud forest to dry forest. Once we arrive at our beachfront hotel, enjoy a delightful evening relaxing on the beach as the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean.
