The trips created by Costa Rica Experience for school, high school, and university groups are totally tailor-made and personalized. We create unique trips based on your budget, philosophy, objectives, and requirements of professors and students.

We include social work in each of our itineraries as part of the experience acquired through participation in these journeys.

The School Experience can be focused on the following aspects:

  • Soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, tennis, rugby, running and many others throughout the country, can be enjoyed together with the most highly recognized Costa Rican athletes, who have participated in Olympic Games, World Cups and other world championships.


  • Sciences, culture and history, natural resources and sustainability, language, j term and study abroad. We visit different parts of the country to cover our participants’ requirements, combining classes, field visits and hands-on learning.

  • This is the perfect ultimate experience. Travel across Costa Rica, from coast to coast in a multisport adventure. We offer mountain biking, hiking, rafting/kayaking, SUP, zip lining, rappelling, surfing, snorkeling and much more.

Costa Rica Experience is a specialized organization offering soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, rugby, and baseball, training trips (pre-season, winter break, etc.) for teams of all levels. The itineraries are tailor-made and personalized according to the wishes and requirements of the trainers and each school’s policies.

CRE offers a wide range of different activities within Costa Rica. Along with competition and training, your team will have the opportunity to play against our national teams, according to the age and competitive level of your group. In our “Academic” program, we work in alliance with renowned educational institutions: Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center (CATIE), Organization for Tropical Studies (OTS), EARTH University, universities, and governmental and non-governmental organizations that play an important role in the generation of knowledge, education and outreach activities at local, regional, national and global levels.

One-quarter of Costa Rica’s territory is set aside in protected areas or national parks. The remarkable variety of ecosystems found in the country reflects the effort to preserve our natural resources. A good example of this effort and many other initiatives is the Certification for Sustainable Tourism (CST) created to face the challenges associated with rapid urbanization, agricultural development and climate change. Rappel breathtaking waterfalls, relax in hot springs at the foot of an active volcano, surf in the company of turtles and dolphins, and learn about the impressive underwater world as you snorkel or scuba dive.
